We mainly
play at Warren Wood. This site is at Newgate Street, South Hertfordshire.
It's 65
acres of varied woodland. The site features two valleys, one
of which has a small river running through it, which in turn,
has three bridges over it. The other valley is narrower and
has a trench complex on one side. There is a long tournament
field which has a track running alongside and a fern field with
a nice forest copse which we often use for pistol games. In
some arenas, the vegetation is primarily fern, so is effectively
evergreen. Many of the game areas have bunkers and fallen trees.
The safe
zone has covered, permanent structures and the car park is nearby,
if a little small. Do park considerately.
| Is
there Grub? |
No,
sorry. |
| Can
I use Pyrotechnics? |
You
can use smoke grenades. Things that make loud bangs cause
disturbance for our neighbours, who we are keen to keep
happy. |
| Where
exactly is this place? |
Here
are some details.
|
| Can
I hire kit? |
There
is a very limited number of AEG's available for hire, please
book these in advance and note that there is a hire charge
as well as a security/damage assurance deposit. We can also
hire you a GBB for the pistol games (Usually 3-4 of these,
weather dependent). |
| How
long is a game day? |
It
really depends on the season, but we would normally be playing
between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. |
| How
often do you play? |
See
the events page
for details.
We play every other Sunday, usually at Warren Wood. |
